Placing Orders With The OSP
The OSP ships seed year-round, anywhere in the world.
To place an order with the OSP, you may send it via e-mail or to our postal address, found in the header here and elsewhere on these web pages. Please make sure you send the complete
address to which the seed should be sent with EVERY order, even via e-mail. Add up the cost of the seed, figure out if you've got any bonus packets coming, and give us a list of substitutes if
Because of international restrictions, we may not ship or receive seed of CITES Appendix I material to or from foreign countries- the expense and paperwork is too much.
Phytosanitary certificates, if your country requires them, cost US$25. We regret that even our gracious donors that live in countries with these requirements must pay this fee when
Payment may be made by check or money order, drawn on any bank in the US. An alternative to this is to send cash in US dollars; we are NOT responsible for loss of money in the mails- it is not
the best way to send money, but the availability and expense of checks drawn on an American bank is sometimes high, and we recognize this expense.
We can NOT take credit cards at this time. Please see www.paypal.com for options where you can use a credit card to pay into our account, even from some foreign countries.
Please contact us directly if you are seeking seeds for educational, research, conservation or other beneficial efforts.
Shipping costs for seeds are absorbed by the OSP: we pay shipping anywhere, first-class air. There is no minimum order, but we ask that international orders are for at least US$12. This is only a request, and we will ship less than this as an effort to help disseminate material for the sake of conservation.
And please- we're not McDonald's. There's no shortage of work that we have to do, and although we try to be as prompt as possible, sometimes seed orders may be delayed. Thanks
Please do NOT send us registered mail without asking first!
